I'm sure you all have missed me. I apologize for the lack of posts. Not only did my office move, but my wife had a gnarly finger injury that required surgery. Anyone who yells no excuses at me gets a picture of the injury sent to their email. :)
In 3rd place with a score of 654 was yours truly. I nailed 4 perfect selections and ended up with 31 total games played and 21.1 PPG. Had I selected Kenny Blackshear, it's enough to get me into 2nd. It's VERY important to note that I finished just ahead of JR Roberts because he is deserving of derision.
In 2nd place was Yenser with 667 points. Yenser swished in 6 perfect selections. Like me, he had 31 games played but average 21.5 PPG. If he selected Alex Copeland instead of his Yale teammate Miye Oni, then he's celebrating as a champion today. You should get your moneys later today.
Our new champion is Clemons01 who outpaced everyone with 684 points. His team played a total of 36 games while averaging 19 PPG. He had 5 perfect selections. It's fun to note that on Day 3, the other Clemons entry had the highest daily total and fell to 18th. Congrats to Clemons! Your money is the electronic mail.
Tournament MVP goes to #5 seeded Bryce Brown from Auburn. He outscored the next closest 5 seed by 58 points. Yowza.
Runner-up is Carsen Edwards. His 139 points were a huge difference maker, though TTU's Jarrett Culver ended with 111 points.
Brown might have been the tournament GOAT, but Rapolas Ivanauskas is our tournament goat. 23 people selected him just to watch him score as many points as your mom did during this tournament.
Thanks for another great year!
