You Really 'Bout To Do It?

You Really 'Bout To Do It?

Oh no
It's not a gambling basketball, technically it's based on skill
You really 'bout to do it?
Sixty-Eight players, it's bigger than one team
You really 'bout to do it?
Yeah, they tried to rig the game, and it worked for UNC
Then get on it like that
Ayy, I'm lookin', I'm pickin', I'm clickin' through the links like, "Baow"

Setnor on the picks, bro.

I get asked this all the time, but no, I am not Kendrick Lamar. We have a lot of similarities, but I'm more of a writer and if I wrote that Drake was a pedophile, that would be libel. Lamar is a singer and him calling Drake would be defamation. Although in both instances, truth of the statement is a defense. That's important.

Anyway, we are back for another fantastic year of the Player Pick 'Em Pool. We have a tight turnaround this because of timing, but most of you wait until Wednesday anyway. Anyway, I know you wouldn't want to swith to any other player pick em pools because I'd get jealous (also I don't think any others exist).

Let's go over the rules:

THE RULES!

    1. Each entry is $20, which is increased this year. Blame Trump, Biden, or Obama for the inflation. Or Musk. Whatever tickles your fancy. The pool will be split 70-20-10 with a minimum of 10 entries. Less than 10 entries and winner receives entire pool. Your moderator receives nothing in return because he remains a hero. If we hit 60 or more entries, the the split will then be 67.5-17.5-10-5. If we hit 70, the split will be 65-17.5-10-5-2.5.

    2. Maximum of 2 entries.

    3. The high scorer from the round of 64 and the high scorer from round of 32 will get their buy-in returned.

    3. You must use this Google Form.

    4.  Money can be sent to my paypal: paypal.me/smsetnor or venmo: shanemsetnor. It must be sent tip-off on Friday, March 21. Please leave a note that states which entry yours is. That's important.

    5. I have not skimmed the list for injuries or suspensions. You are on your own there, so proceed with caution

    6. If you are choosing a "Write In", fill in the short answer with that write-in name. You may write in as many as you wish. Please use the format: PLAYER NAME, SCHOOL, PPG . Example: "1, Dubs Setnor, Evansville, 27.2". If you need to write in more than what I allowed for, please feel free to double up.

    7. The play-in game stats do not count. If you need to change from a player that you selected from the play in list because that player lost, you must email me at smsetnor@gmail.com before tipoff on Friday 3/21 with a replacement player. Don't FB message me, text me, or Myspace message me with the change. It has to go to my smsetnor@gmail.com email. If I don't get an email, I'll change your player to the highest ppg selection from the team that knocked your selection out.

    8. I will update the scores when I can. I coach a couple of baseball teams in between chauffeuring my kids to other events. Also, I love my clients, but they also have questions that I need to answer and since they pay my bills, I gotta do it. So on occasion I get a bit bogged down, but I will get to updating the scores. Hopefully we can keep providing updates and analysis as well.

    9. If you see an error in the spreadsheet or in the entry form, please tell me! It really helps.

    10. I have a networking event this Thursday, but I will do my best to get a scoreboard up early. I am a fan of transparency, so I don't like changing the spreadsheet after the initial release, but I have had some feedback on getting that bad boy up early, errors be damned.

Good luck, everyone!
